PRIVACY POLICY

While accessing Centrum Turkey’s (the "Company") websites or e-mails sent by the company, small data files that allow the recording and collection of certain data can be placed to computers, mobile phones, tablets or other devices of the users. These data files placed on computers and other devices may be cookies, pixel tags, flash cookies and web beacons or other similar technologies for data storage purposes.

In this Policy, the term “cookie” is used to refer to cookies and similar technologies that can be used by the Company. Although it is possible to collect personal data through cookies, any data collected through cookies may not have the nature of personal data. For this reason, it should be taken into consideration that the data obtained through cookies will only be evaluated within the scope of this Policy and Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) to the extent that they constitute personal data within the framework of Turkish Law.

1- Type of Cookies

Cookies can be classified in terms of duration or by domain name to which they belong. Cookies are divided into two as session cookies and permanent cookies when they are classified in terms of duration. Session cookies refer to cookies that are deleted after the user closes the browser. Permanent cookies are cookies that remain on the user's computer / device for a predetermined period of time.

When cookies are classified according to their domain name, they are divided into two categories: Related Party Cookies are cookies placed by the visited site. Third Party Cookies are cookies placed by a different domain visited. When people outside the visited domain place cookies on the user device over the visited domain, it is considered as a third-party cookie.

2- Purposes of Use of Cookies

The company can use the cookies used in its websites, platforms, applications and messages for the following purposes.

• Operational Purposes: We can use cookies that we deem necessary for the management and security of the company's website, platform, applications and services.

3- Rejecting and Deleting Cookies

The method of changing the settings depends on the browser used, and how the cookies can be disabled should be learned from the service provider for the browser used. If cookies are disabled, it may be possible that some features of the Company website, application, platform and services cannot be used.

4- Authorized Service Providers

We may receive assistance from some service providers that we authorize for the execution and promotion of the company's website, platform and applications, and services. These service providers will also be able to place cookies and similar technologies (third party cookies) on the users' computer / device and collect information such as IP address, unique identifier and device identifier to detect the user device.

5- Third Party Sites, Products and Services

Company websites, platforms and applications may contain third-party websites, links to products and services. These links are subject to third party privacy policies, and it should be noted that third parties and third-party sites are independent from the Company and that the Company is not responsible for third parties' privacy policies.
